First New Find of 2023
Former Donnie owner August Geesaman got in touch recently with a photo of the Donnie that he used to own. It was bought in Reno NV in 1996. He has reached out to the current owner on our behalf to see if we can access model data, but in the meantime, here it is as it might have looked when new. Thanks August!

Love it … I think we are around 35 known Ibanez JS3’s. Would be nice to get some more info on that one.. Later models were smaller characters.
Love it. I will definitely forward info if she responds.
Great job on the documentation effort, great to see them all being brought together so comprehensively.
Keep up the great work!
I played one a handful of times back in 1990 at Skip’s Music in Sacramento, CA. It was in a glass case, and the guys were very generous when I would come in. I would love to know where this guitar landed. Unfortunately, I don’t know the serial number, but this had to have been one of the first ones. It played like a dream and looked cool as hell. I wish I could have purchased this back in the day…. I live in Iowa now of all places, and have always wondered what could have been.
